Connie J. Canode, DVM, is a member of the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association (VVMA), a professional organization of veterinarians dedicated to preserving and enhancing the quality of human and animal life through veterinary medicine. Canode is a feline practitioner and owner of Veterinarians to Cats in Roanoke, Va., which she opened in 1990. She received her DVM from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Va., and her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Radford University in Radford, Va.
