• [2-in-1 Sensor] The Aqara Motion and Light Sensor P2 combines a PIR motion sensor with a separate light sensor, enabling smart automations like adjusting lights or curtains based on motion or brightness. Unlike the P1, the light sensor in P2 can function independently. It supports Matter for wider compatibility. (*Note: Alexa does NOT support light sensor functionality.) For a stable connection, ensure the motion and light Sensor P2 between the hub is no more than 6 meters(19 feet).
• [Wide Viewing Angle & Detection Range] The P2 sensor can detect movement across a wider area range of up to 7 meters/23 feet, at an angle of up to 170° horizontally, and 45° vertically. The data is from laboratory testing, conducted in a 25 °C / 77 °F environment. It also comes with a versatile 360° stand, that allows you to easily adjust the viewing angle, and it can only trigger the sensor when it’s needed. The detection angle and the sensitivity may vary depending on the ambient temperature and the distance. The device comes with medium sensitivity by default, but you can set the various sensitivity levels on the Aqara Home APP later according to seasonal changes or needs.
