Chessie Green, D.V.M., is a member of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (NCVMA) and founding president of Friends of the NCVMA, the organization’s charitable arm. She is also a veterinarian at Falls Village Veterinary Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she has been a partner since 2008. A native of Statesville, North Carolina, Dr. Green received her D.V.M. from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. Active in her community, Green is a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle. She was also the medical director of Operation Catnip for several years. She resides in Raleigh with her dog, Woody, and three cats, Teeny, Lulu and Linus.
