Irrigation systems. Jon Feldman is a professional landscape designer and started his design/build company, G. biloba Gardens, Inc., in 1982. His formal training is in the fields of Botany and Horticuture. He has a keen interest in, and extensive knowledge of, landscape and structural architecture, sustainable and organic agriculture, plant taxonomy, fine arts and construction. For twelve years he has written the column, The Lifetime Gardener, for The Nyack Villager, a monthly journal in the Hudson River Valley of New York. He is a frequent professional resource for daily newspapers and various online magazines. He has been featured on two HGTV series, most notably as the winning designer on the popular “Landscaper’s Challenge”. Jon was named ‘Master of Design’ (by Gannett’s LoHud Journal News) for his attention to detail in both creating gardens and building them. He was also listed among the “One of the 101 favorite things in Rockland County” (New York). Jon gardens on his own ¾ acre plot and has thus far been unsuccessful in trying to get his ten year-old son to help weed the beds. |
