I also work with adopted individuals and families about how adoption affects identity formation and what that means as children grow. I have worked in the field of adoption for over 30 years and have post-graduate training in therapy with adoptive and foster families. I am an adoptive mom in a transracial family raising children with a range of special needs across three generations. I understand first hand both the joys and challenges adoption brings to a family. I have an office at The Cradle in Evanston, a satellite office in Oak Park and work with families via phone and Skype. |
