Julieanna Hever, MS, RD, CPT, is a Registered Dietitian who has been in private practice since 2005 specializing in weight management, disease prevention and management, and sports nutrition. Julieanna is the host of Veria Living’s wellness talk show series, What Would Julieanna Do?, author of the best-selling book, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Plant-Based Nutrition, and nutrition columnist for VegNews Magazine. She is co-author of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Gluten-Free Vegan Cooking and recipe contributor to both of the New York Times Best-selling Forks Over Knives books. Julieanna counsels a variety of clients throughout the world from her Los Angeles, California-based practice including elite athletes, adults, and children with various nutritional and/or medical concerns. Julieanna was recently featured on The Dr. Oz Show, The Steve Harvey Show, The Marie Osmond Show, Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell, Reluctantly Healthy, and E! News, co-stars on The Chef and The Dietitian, on numerous radio shows, and lectures extensively around the world at universities, corporations, festivals, and other various venues. Julieanna gave a TedXConejo talk on the benefits of plant-based nutrition called Breaking Bread. As co-producer and star of the infotainment documentary To Your Health, Julieanna interviewed a host of the plant-based world’s most respected doctors and researchers to bring this important information to film and television audiences. Julieanna has served as a Special Consultant for the best-selling documentary Forks Over Knives and as the Executive Director of EarthSave, International, which has also provided an opportunity for Julieanna to bring whole food, plant-based nutrition to the forefront of efforts to improve the current global healthcare crisis. Julieanna received her B.A. from UCLA and M.S. in Nutrition at California State University, Northridge, where she also completed her Dietetic Internship. She has taught as a part of the eCornell Plant-Based Nutrition Certification Program, worked as a clinical dietitian at Century City Doctor’s Hospital, and has consulted for numerous businesses.
