Leslie Sinn, DVM, CPDT-KA (Certified Pet Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed), behavior resident, American College of Veterinary Behaviorists is a member of the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association (VVMA), a professional organization of veterinarians dedicated to preserving and enhancing the quality of human and animal life through veterinary medicine. She received her bachelor’s degree in animal and dairy science, along with her doctor of veterinary medicine degree, from the University of Georgia. Dr. Sinn is currently completing requirements for a residency in veterinary behavioral medicine through the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists, recognized by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). In addition, she provides private animal behavioral consultations at Blue Ridge Veterinary Associates in Purcellville, Va., Leesburg Veterinary Hospital in Leesburg, Va., and Stonewall Veterinary Clinic in Gainesville, Va. Dr. Sinn works with all species, but has extensive experience with cats, dogs and even parrots. In addition, she teaches behavior and other subjects to students in the Veterinary Technology Program of the Northern Virginia Community College.
