Dr. Rachel Nazarian’s clinical interests and expertise extend to many aspects of Dermatology including skin cancer, dermatologic surgery, cosmetic and general dermatology. Dr. Nazarian is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.Dr. Nazarian is a faculty member of the Department of Dermatology staff at the Mount Sinai Medical Center where she teaches Dermatology Residents and Medical Students. She began conducting dermatology research while receiving her Bachelor of Science degree at Brandeis University in Boston, and was later awarded a grant by the Women’s Dermatology Society during her time at Tulane University School of Medicine where she obtained her M.D. degree. Dr. Nazarian was a dermatology resident at Mount Sinai Hospital, and was selected to serve as chief resident during her training.In addition to her extensive research, Dr. Nazarian has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and has authored several chapters in well-respected textbooks, including Treatment of Skin Disease, and the American College of Physicians master text. She has also lectured to her dermatology colleagues at multiple dermatology conferences.
