| Full Profile: | Contact me for: Support to adults on the autism spectrum and their families, in areas such as, but not limited to—employment issues, community life, transition to independence, sexuality and dating, self-regulation, and self-advocacy. Zosia Zaks, M.Ed., C.R.C., counsels adults on the autism spectrum and their families on issues related to work, community life, and transition to independence. He also works as a program facilitator at Towson University's Hussman Center for Adults with Autism and teaches courses on adult autism issues as an adjunct in Towson University's Department of Health Professions. Zaks has written one book and numerous articles on autism specifically and disability in general; speaks nationally; serves on the boards of several local and national autism organizations; and is a member of the Maryland State Rehabilitation Council. As an adult on the autism spectrum and as the parent of two daughters on the autism spectrum, Zaks brings a unique personal persoecitve to his professional endeavors and political advocacy, always seeking to promote strengths-based support and full inclusion for people with disabilities. |
