Mindy Keller received her B.A. degree in English from Florida Atlantic University in 1997, graduating summa cum laude, and began teaching in 1998. Her career spans from teaching remedial to advanced courses in English, as well as required and elective courses in Theatre and Debate, within both traditional and virtual environments. She is also a National Board Certified Teacher in English Language Arts— Adolescent/Young Adult.She and some of her former students have written a book on effective teaching: Transparent Teaching of Adolescents: Defining the Ideal Class for Students and Teachers. As their schedules permit, Mindy and her co-authors are happy to speak at schools on the topic of classroom management at no cost to the school.
