Brian Burress has been in the financial Services industry for over 25 years. He began his career at PNC (formally National City Corporation), where he held numerous roles including branch manager, commercial lending officer, regional sales and service executive and call center manager.In 1997, Brian was recruited by Bank of America, and transferred to South Florida. During his 13-year career at B of A, Brian worked primarily in retail banking, and was a regional manager for the Miami market. He also worked in the premier and private banking group. Brian joined Tropical Financial Credit Union in February 2014, and manages Retail Sales and Service, which includes nine retail branch locations and the credit union’s call center. Brian received his B.S. in Economics from the University of Illinois, and his M.B.A in Finance from Case Western Reserve University. Brian also studied Banking and Finance at the University of Michigan.Tropical Financial Credit Union is a tax-exempt financial institution whose deposits are federally insured. Businesses and consumers in Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach counties can join the credit union, which was founded in 1935.
