Full Profile:

Dr. Jamey T. Schrier, is the CEO of Schrier Physical Therapy, Inc., with locations in Gaithersburg and Rockville, Maryland. He holds a Doctorate and Masters degree in physical therapy from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware. He has the unique distinction of being recognized as a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics from the American Physical Therapy Association. Furthermore, Dr. Schrier is a proud member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Private Practice Section.
Dr. Schrier was named “Top Physical Therapist” in the January 2010 edition of the Washingtonian Magazine. In addition, he was a featured lecturer at the Private Practice Annual Conference in 2009-2010 on “Leadership and Entrepreneurism” among physical therapists.
Dr. Schrier started Schrier Physical Therapy, Inc in 2001 with a vision to be recognized in the Washington, DC metropolitan area as a Center of Excellence for integrated and evidence-based programs for individual, and community fitness and rehabilitation.
In 2011, Dr. Schrier saw a need to help PT business owners in the areas of operations, management, innovation and entrepreneurism. In the fall of 2011, he launched Elite Coaching with the goal to offer sound and prudent advice stemming from real-life experiences while incorporating effective management tools, to help the average PT business owner meet and exceed his/her financial and personal goals.
Jamey is very passionate about the field of physical therapy including the business of PT. He believes physical therapy is the absolute best form of treatment for musculoskeletal conditions and is well-positioned to be, as the baby boom generation ages, the first choice for patients seeking healthcare professionals to handle the physical limitations and health concerns that will accompany them. However, only the PT's who have a great understanding of the business aspects of PT will be able to thrive in the tomorrow's new model of healthcare.
Jamey believes in a balance of work and play. During his free days, he enjoys spending time with his family – wife Colleen, son Jack and daughter Gracie, as well as playing basketball, golf, and tennis with friends.
