Scott is responsible for the Adolescent Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs at Walden Behavioral Care, including medical monitoring of clients, implementation of family-based treatment for eating disorders and providing training and supervision to all staff using tenants of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and structural family therapy. Formerly he was the Director of Growing Roots, an interdisciplinary adolescent and adult practice in central New Hampshire and also served as an adjunct faculty member at Plymouth State University. In addition, Dr. Schinaman has received advanced training in clinical psychology, integrated health care and adolescent eating disorders. He earned his master’s degree and Psy.D. in marriage and family therapy from the University of San Francisco and the California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Schinaman completed his pre and postdoctoral training in integrated behavioral health care through the U.S. Air Force.
