Can I play FIFA 23 on PS4 with PS5 players?

No. As confirmed by EA Sports, there is no cross-play enabled between the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of FIFA 23. PS4 and PS5 players cannot matchmake to play against or with each other in any online modes.

Why PS4 and PS5 Cross-Play Isn‘t Possible

"PS5 provides seamless gameplay experiences that would not align technologically with the current generation of console hardware.
