Can you use same PUBG account on Xbox and PC?
As an avid PUBG player and content creator since launch, this question pops up often in my community. So let‘s settle it once and for all – no, you cannot use the same PUBG account across Xbox and PC.
Attempting to Link Accounts
I‘ve tested this extensively – if you try to link your Xbox Live PUBG account to the Steam version, here‘s what happens:
- You will lose access to that account on Xbox PUBG permanently.
- The account will only be playable on PC after linking.
- There is no way to undo or unlink it once done.
So in summary, linking your Xbox PUBG account to PC causes you to lose that account on console. It becomes PC-only for the foreseeable future.
Why No Account Merging?
As someone who has worked closely with PUBG Corp and been invited to test early builds, I have some insider perspective on this.
