Does Mortal Kombat 11 have Alien?
As a hardcore MK fan and content creator, this is a question I get asked a lot! While the iconic sci-fi horror monster was included as DLC in 2015‘s Mortal Kombat X, he does not make a return appearance in the latest installment of the legendary fighting game franchise.
However, MK11 pays tribute to the Alien legacy with a special Xenomorph-inspired skin for the character Jacqui Briggs. So let‘s dig into the details behind the acid-blooded showdown that could have been!
The Alien‘s Past MK Appearances
The Alien Xenomorph first joined the MK universe as a playable guest character in Mortal Kombat X. With his slippery movements, razor-sharp tail, and gruesome fatalities, he was a hit amongst players.

How an Alien Comeback Could Work in Future Games
As NetherRealm Studios gears up for the eventual Mortal Kombat 12, I think bringing back the Alien as a playable fighter needs to be a top priority. The character roster has gotten stale in recent years, and a return from the Xenomorph would really freshen things up.
I envision giving the Alien a complete overhaul with some dynamic new abilities. Imagine seeing his long tongue grab opponents from a distance, or how gruesome a fatality would look if he laid eggs inside their chest cavity!
They could also explore fun crossover ideas like including Ellen Ripley as a guest character. Just imagine her wielding that Powerloader mech suit in battle!
