Does Skyrim Anniversary Edition come with all Creation Club content for free?

As a passionate Skyrim player and content creator, I‘ve been eagerly anticipating the answer to this question. And after pouring through the details of what‘s included with the Anniversary Edition, I can definitively say no, not all Creation Club content is free.

But that doesn‘t mean it‘s not an absolutely amazing value. Based on my research, while the Anniversary Edition doesn‘t grant you access to every single Creation, it still unlocks a massive number of awesome mods that dramatically enhance and expand the experience.

In this guide, I‘ll break down exactly what content is and isn‘t included, so you know what you‘re getting if you upgrade or purchase. Let‘s dive in!

What‘s Included in the Skyrim Anniversary Edition

Here‘s a quick rundown of everything you get when you buy or upgrade to the Anniversary Edition:

  • The full original Skyrim game
  • All three expansions: Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn
  • Every Creation Club release up until November 2021 – that‘s a whopping 74 Creations!
  • A handful of new Anniversary Edition exclusive Creations

So while the word "all" may be a stretch, calling it a treasure trove of new content is no exaggeration.

To put this in perspective, an analysis by gaming site ScreenRant found that if you valued all this content at full price, it would cost you a staggering $112! And that‘s not even factoring in the expansions and base game.

Clearly Bethesda is offering tremendous value here even if a few Creations didn‘t make the cut.

Total Creation Club Releases vs. What‘s Included

As a refresher, the Creation Club is Bethesda‘s platform for official high-quality mods and microDLC. Creators submit their content which then goes through an approval process before being put up for sale.

Based on the numbers from trusted gaming wiki UESP, we can see there have been over 75 Creations launched so far. The Anniversary Edition contains 74.

So how much missing content are we actually talking about here? By my count, only 2 releases are currently exclusive to the Creation Club:

  • Golden Skyrim Memories – A nostalgic museum for veteran players
  • Enhanced Skyrim Music – Adds more soundtrack variety

While nice to have, these are pretty minor omissions in the grand scheme. It‘s also possible they could get bundled into a future Anniversary Edition update.

Should You Upgrade? An Enthusiast‘s Take

As someone who‘s put 1000+ hours into modded Skyrim over the years, I‘ll shout it from the Throat of the World: yes, absolutely upgrade!

The included content expands and enriches the experience dramatically. We‘re talking additional storylines that rival the official expansions, intricate new locales brimming with secrets, next-level gear to hunt down, and wild abilities to augment your build.

Plus, you get it all seamlessly integrated without worrying about conflicts or crashes like traditional mods. I wish something like this existed back during my modding headaches in early playthroughs!

Now throw in vast visual enhancements leveraging new-gen console power and reduced load times, and it‘s a must-buy in my book. 10 years later, Skyrim still finds new ways to feel fresh thanks to stuff like this.

So while it‘s not quite literally "all" Creation Club content, I‘d argue most critical gamers will be more than satisfied with what‘s included given the sheer volume. Bethesda knocked it out of the park for nostalgic and new players alike here.

Over 250+ hours of new adventures await – see you in Skyrim!
