Marilyn Mendenhall Waugh, MA, is a reunited birth mother, Director of Adoption Concerns Triangle of Topeka, a search and support group serving those in Northeastern Kansas, past president of the American Adoption Congress and currently the AAC state representative for Kansas. For the past 20 years, Marilyn has worked in the Post Adoption Services of the Kansas Division for Children and Families processing and completing 500 to 800 record and search requests per year. She presents workshops frequently at national and international conferences on search techniques and serves on the advisory committee for Spokeo Search Angels. Marilyn is co-owner and founder of BackBeat Resources in Topeka, Kansas.
