How to Activate Sims 4 Expansion Packs
Activating expansions packs is a breeze, but the exact steps depend whether you play on PC or console.
Activating on PC
First, open up Origin and head to "My Game Library". Right click The Sims 4 tile and select "Show Game Details":

Next, open the "Extra Content" dropdown menu and click your purchased expansion pack type – Game Packs, Expansion Packs etc:

The expansion pack should show as owned/installed. If not, click the download button.
Once installed, fire up your game and explore the awesome new content!
Activating on PlayStation/Xbox
On console, expansions are managed slightly differently:
- On your dashboard, go to "My Games and Apps"
- Select The Sims 4 and choose "Manage All"
- Go to "Ready to Install"
- You should see your new expansion here – select to install

Troubleshooting Expansion Pack Issues

Packs Missing / Disappeared

Pack Not Showing In-Game
