Franklin Can Only Reliably Store 4 Cars in GTA 5

As an avid GTA fan and Franklin Clinton enthusiast, I‘ve spent countless hours pushing his green Bravado Buffalo S to its limits across Los Santos. And over time, I’ve learned the hard way that Franklin can only store 4 cars reliably at his purchased Dynasty 8 garage. The other 2 spaces at his Grove Street safehouse garage simply cannot be trusted for permanent storage, no matter how conveniently close they are.

The Safehouse Garage Trap

When I first started playing as Franklin, I assumed parking cars in his safehouse garage would keep them safe. After all, it‘s his house – if you can‘t store cars safely at your own home, where can you?

Unfortunately, the game does not always save vehicles left in the Grove Street garage. On multiple occasions, I came back to find rare and valuable rides had mysteriously vanished. The disappointing feeling of losing prized cars to the void forced me to rethink my parking strategy.

Nowadays, I rely solely on Franklin‘s purchased garage for long-term storage.

Purchased Garage – Small but Reliable

Located conveniently under an overpass near Franklin‘s aunt‘s old house, the Dynasty 8 four-car garage may be modestly sized, but offers rock-solid reliability.

In my experience, vehicles stored in purchased garages remain there permanently unless the player chooses to replace them. Even super rare rides I leave for weeks at a time stay put.

So despite its limited capacity, Franklin‘s garage gives me peace of mind that whatever I park inside will stay safe and ready to ride when needed.

Playing as a Collector

As a diehard car collector, only having 4 trustworthy spaces puts some restrictions on my gameplay. When I get my hands on that 5th prized vehicle I want to keep, choices have to be made about what gets replaced.

It would be incredible if Rockstar introduced more garage customization focused specifically on car enthusiasts. Imagine Franklin investing in a personal 20+ vehicle warehouse to store his expanding collection! Additional high-end garage properties could offer players a whole new collecting and customization endgame beyond just making money and leveling up.

So while Franklin might currently have to limit himself to 4 saved rides, I hold out hope us car hoarders will get more options down the road!

Either way, when it comes time to store my proudest vehicular trophies, only Franklin‘s dependable purchased garage will do. The alluring yet tragically unreliable Grove Street garage stays reserved only for the most disposable of beaters.
