Time to Complete: ~2 hours

Upon finishing the 39th book you‘ll unlock the ability to sell cars. You‘ll also roll credits and get introduced to Extra Menus if your Collector Level is 20+.

Extra Menus Series – 3 Books

The Extra Menus are special post-launch bonus books themed around different nations. Each requires a high Collector Level and owning rare vintage vehicles from the region to enter events.

  • European Classics (Collector Level 20)
  • Japanese Classics (Collector Level 20)
  • American Classics (Collector Level 32)

More Extra Menus may be added over time via game updates.

Total Menu Book Completion Time

Adding up all the books, completing Gran Turismo 7‘s 39 main menu books takes around 24-30 hours. Tackling all content including the 3 Extra Menus brings the total completion estimate to 30-36 hours.

This makes GT7 a rather hearty career mode that should keep players busy for a good while!

Unlocking the Extra Menus

I see a lot of questions around unlocking the three Extra Menus, so here are the exact requirements:

  • Finish all 39 Café books and watch the credits
  • AND have a Collector Level of at least 20 to unlock the first 2 Extra Menus
  • Level up Collector Level to 32 to unlock the third American Classics book

Easier said than done! Because getting a high Collector Level requires owning many rare cars, these books essentially gate the challenges until later in the game when your garage has expanded significantly.

Cars Rewarded Per Menu Book

One last tip for those looking to expand their garage – most Menu Books reward at least one free car for achieving certain objectives or golding all events. Below is a full list of all vehicles earned via book completion:

Menu BookReward Car
#1Volkswagen Beetle ‘99
#2Tuned Car Awarded
#3Mazda Demio XD Touring ‘15

#23Ferrari 488 Challenge ‘18

That wraps up my complete analysis of all 42 menu books in GT7! This should help provide a roadmap plus tips for tackling every book efficiently as you work to collect that sweet platinum. Now shut up and drive!
