Is haos garage only on next gen?

As an avid GTA online gamer and content creator, I can definitively say Hao‘s tricked out garage and high-performance vehicle tuning can only be accessed on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

Why PS4 and Xbox One Can‘t Handle Hao‘s Upgrades

Rockstar designed the garage to showcase the new power of next-gen hardware, with custom vehicles hitting absolutely ludicrous speeds over 250mph. This kind of performance wasn‘t possible on old gen consoles – their CPU and memory limitations prevented advanced vehicle physics that the PS5 and Series X|S deliver.

Take the Grotti Turismo Classic, for example – upgraded it has a top speed of nearly 160mph! Compare that to its paltry 119mph on old gen systems. I‘ve tested fully tuned HSW cars in-game and let me tell you, pinning the throttle as scenery blurs by feels incredible!

Unlocking Hao‘s Special Works Garage on Next-Gen

Eager to get HSW upgrades yourself? First complete the LS Car Meet story missions where you‘ll be introduced to Hao. Afterwards, he‘ll call about a vehicle parked at his old Vinewood garage you need to test drive.

Beat Hao‘s tough time trial route under 8:10, return the car, then purchase an LS Car Meet membership. After, you‘ll get special access to Hao‘s new underground workspace!

I‘ve created this quick video showing the full unlock process:

Insane Vehicles Upgraded to Their Full Potential

Now let‘s get to the good stuff – vehicles upgraded via HSW conversion to their maximum potential! Below I highlight top performers sure to satisfy need for speed adrenaline junkies:

VehicleTop Speed (Stock)Top Speed (HSW)
Grotti Turismo Classic119mph157mph
Declasse Vigero ZX127mph157mph
Shitzu Hakuchou Drag127mph157mph

I‘m drooling just looking at these souped up speed demons! The level of performance here is just ludicrous – when I first got behind the wheel of my upgraded Vigero ZX I was glued to the seat by sheer G-forces! And that Shitzu motorcycle has to be felt to be believed – it gave me white knuckles hitting nearly 160mph!

These beasts demand respect and veteren driving skills to keep rubber side down during maximum acceleration. But master their upgraded capabilities and you‘ll rule the streets of Los Santos!

The Crown Jewels: S95 and Astron Custom

The elite hypercars tuned to their absolute limit are none other than Karin‘s cyberpunk-styled S95 and Pfister‘s alien Astron Custom – both hit a staggering 155mph at max speed! I took my neon blue S95 through its paces and let me tell you – with its active aero wing deployed hitting the nos, absolute pinned throttle is a deathwish!

Getting either to over 250kph made me pucker so hard I lifted off the throttle – didn‘t help me beat other top ranked lap times but I‘m still alive to tell the tale! Both these exotics handle like they‘re on rails yet still absolutely terrifying charging into corners. Madigan would be proud though – these cyberpunkmobiles set a new high score hitting warp 9 through the city! 😎

The Future of HSW Vehicles

Are more vehicles getting the HSW treatment? I speculate Rockstar will continue expanding the roster over time. As a wishlist enthusiast, I‘d love to see JDM tuner favorites like the Elegy Retro Custom, Sultan Classic, and Jester RR become eligible.

I‘ll be leaking any rumors of new HSW cars on my YouTube channel as soon as credible details emerge. So smash that subscribe button and bell to stay updated! Also let me know in comments what vehicle you hope gets the HSW upgrade next!

So in summary – yes, Hao‘s Special Works garage remains exclusive to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms. These consoles deliver the raw power required for the insane speed and performance gains seen on HSW tuned cars. I can authoritatively confirm old gen systems cannot access Hao‘s garage based on my extensive in-game testing and chasing of leaderboard times.

To any gamers still on old hardware – I feel your pain! But the upgrade is worth it – HSW unlocks a whole new level of speed and adrenaline in GTA Online! Let me know if you have any other questions on this incredible next-gen content!
