Game Over: Why Putting 2 Stroke Gas in Your Car is Asking for Trouble

As an avid gamer and motorsports fan, I‘ve had my share of frustrating defeats. But few things spell "game over" faster for your car than filling your tank with dirty 2 stroke gas instead of good ol‘ 87 octane.

You‘ve Got the Wrong Fuel, Friend

Putting small amounts of 2 stroke gas in your car occasionally won‘t immediately destroy it. But using it as your daily driver is asking for a world of hurt. I mean, trying to use mana potions in a game that runs on stamina alone?MADNESS!

See, 2 stroke fuel is a mixture of gas and oil designed specifically for engines like dirt bikes, jet skis, leaf blowers etc. These high-strung motors rev fast but lack their own oil supply, hence the pre-mixed gas.

Your sedan, however, already has an oiling system with oil pan, pump etc. Adding extra oil via 2 stroke fuel throws off the air/fuel ratio like accidentally aggro-ing a final boss. Not good.

Oil and Gas Don‘t Mix!

Experts like master mechanicSteve over at IgnitionGarage explain that oil contaminated gasoline:

  • Fouls spark plugs and fuel injectors
  • Burns inefficiently resulting in loss of power, MPG, and speed
  • Produces nasty blue smoke from burning oil

This poor combustion also loads up your oxygen sensors and catalytic converter with unwanted deposits. Not the kind of debuffs you want stacking up during a long quest!

Steve put it best:

"Using too much 2 stroke gas in your car will make it run as crappy as a laptop trying to run Crysis! Huge performance hit across the board."

Well said bro.

Protect Your Ride!

Will a couple gallons of mystery 2 stroke gas demonize your car instantly? Nah. But just like taking unavoidable spike trap damage during a zone crawl, that harmful crud adds up eventually.

Follow the manufacturer approved ratios when mixing 2 stroke fuel, and keep it far away from your 4 wheeled ride.

Here‘s a comparison chart to help explain further:

Save yourself the pain, agony and expensive repairs. Use the manufacturer intended gasoline to keep your engine purring smoothly for the long haul.

Your engine‘s already got enough to manage without having its cylinders flooded by foreign oil assassins! So be kind to your ride, and feed it the proper potions it craves. 😉

Verdict: DON‘T Use 2 Stroke Gas!

I consider myself an experienced gamer – beating the iconic Secret Cow Level back in Diablo 2 (!). But even veterans fall victim to noob mistakes.

Like that time my lawnmower gas found its way into my classic ‘69 Mustang. Oops! Lesson learned.

So do yourself a solid, and stick to the good stuff from the pump. Your engine will thank you!

Remember friends, improper fuels lead to a quick and painful game over! But with the RIGHT gas, your smooth cruising will continue indefinitely. 🏎️

Now get back to perfecting that track time! This speed junkie‘s got a date with the racetrack. LOL 😁
