After extensive in-game testing across multiple seeds and analyzing community data, I‘ve concluded that Badlands and Mesa biomes currently provide the highest diamond ore generation rates in Minecraft 1.19.2. The abundant ravines slicing through layers of colorful hardened clay contain plenty of diamonds if you mine at the right levels.

Badlands and Mesa Biomes – Diamond Ore Hotspots
