Joffrey S. Suprina, PhD is the Dean and Associate Professor of the College of Behavioral Sciences at Argosy University. In addition to leadership positions within Argosy University, he has also held leadership positions in the field with Chi Sigma Iota and the Southeastern Association of Counselor Education and Supervision.As a practitioner scholar, Dr. Suprina has been a licensed counselor working with a wide variety of clients in a myriad of settings. Dr. Suprina regularly presents at professional conferences and has published in a variety of professional journals as well as the American Counseling Association Encyclopedia of Counseling. He is the Editor of The Practitioner Scholar: Journal of Counseling and Professional Psychology and Contributing Editor of the Journal of Trauma Counseling, International.Dr. Suprina, received his B.A from Rollins College, his MA in Professional Counseling and PhD in Counselor Education and Practice from Georgia State University’s CACREP accredited programs. When not working, his avocation is music. He has sung internationally, including Carnegie Hall and currently directs a church choir. No matter what the field, Dr. Suprina is dedicated to promoting positive change.
