Deborah Wagner, Ph.D. is a diversely trained and experienced licensed psychologist. She earned her doctorate in Developmental Psychology at Yeshiva University while conducting pre- and post-doctoral research at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.Following her years in research and academia, Dr. Wagner entered into clinical work. Her training in developmental psychology prepared her for working with a wide age range of people. Dr. Wagner’s clinical practice, spanning over twenty years, includes both sexes and people aged from two years to over seventy. She has worked with individuals, couples and families. In the last several years Dr. Wagner has treated a substantial number of perimenopausal women and their families, inspiring her to write The Fifth Decade, Is It Just My Life or Is It Perimenopause?Dr. Wagner has been invited to speak on over many radio program. She has also written many articles and has been interviewed on a wide range of psychological challenges that people face in their everyday lives.
