Eric Workman is vice president of Sales at MACK Companies, Chicago’s premier provider of rehabilitated properties, and one of the largest owners and managers of single-family rentals in the Chicagoland area. On average, the firm buys, redevelops and leases a home every day, and currently owns and manages more than 1,000 homes totaling more than $150 million.Mr. Workman is responsible for sales, marketing, leasing and acquisitions, and was recently named by National Real Estate Investor as one of the “10 Key Figures Shaping the Commercial Real Estate Industry.” In December 2012, he structured the largest single-family performing asset deal in U.S. history – the REIT American Residential Properties (ARPI) purchased 291 single-family rental MACK homes. And in April of 2013, Mr. Workman spearheaded MACK’s first venture into master-planned residential development with the purchase of Fay’s Point, a 27-acre site in south suburban Chicago suited for new-construction as well as rental properties.Prior to joining MACK, Mr. Workman had developed a unique blend of sales, marketing, finance and operations experience, and had sold more than $120 million in real estate. His love for real estate was established while obtaining a degree in Finance at the University of Illinois.
