How to Get Arcane Fury: The Ultimate Farming Guide

As an avid Warframe player with over 500 hours playtime, Arcane Fury is one of my personal favorite arcane enhancements for its exceptional damage boost. This guide will cover everything you need to know about getting your hands on Arcane Fury.

What is Arcane Fury?

Arcane Fury is an arcane enhancement that grants a 21% chance on dealing damage to increase damage dealt by 30% for 12 seconds. This effect can stack up to 6 times for a total damage increase of 180%.

The remarkable damage amplification Arcane Fury provides makes it a top priority for amplifying your killing power. It works well on both weapons and warframes.

Where to Get Arcane Fury

There are two ways to obtain Arcane Fury:

1. Defeating the Hydrolyst Eidolon

This giant, multi-stage boss spawns at night in the Plains of Eidolon. The Hydrolyst has a chance to drop an Arcane Fury on death.

The expected drop chance for at least one Arcane Fury from a Hydrolyst kill based on community data is approximately:

• 5% chance on kill
• 11% chance on capture

So capturing the Hydrolyst nearly doubles you chance to get Arcane Fury.

Arcane Fury belongs to the Rare drop table.

Bringing loot detection mods like Loot Detector and Animal Instinct can help locate any rare drops after defeating the Hydrolyst.

2. Completing Orphix Missions

The secret labs tileset Orphix missions have rotating reward tables. Arcane Fury has a chance to drop from Rotation C.

These missions spawn sentient controlled enemies that must be destroyed to progress. The missions are found on planets that have the following Proxima regions unlocked:

• Neptune Proxima
• Veil Proxima

Expect Arcane Fury to drop from approximately 2-3% of Rotation C mission rewards based on data gathered from many Orphix runs.

Now that you know where Arcane Fury comes from, let‘s discuss how to optimize your farming.

Farming Arcane Fury: Step-by-Step

To maximize your chances of obtaining Arcane Fury, here is the process I use:

Step 1 – Assemble Your Hydrolyst Hunting Squad

The Hydrolyst is an imposing boss that requires coordination to defeat. Bring a specialized squad to take it down swiftly.

Ideal squad composition:

• 1 Volt warframe for shield buffs
• 1 Harrow warframe for crit buffs
• 1 Chroma warframe for damage buffs
• 1 Oberon/Trinity for healing

Make sure to equip radiation damage mods to capitalize on weaknesses. Sniper rifles like Lanka or Rubico Prime are ideal for one shotting the synovias.

Step 2 – Charge Your Eidolon Lures

In order to capture the Hydrolyst, you need to hack and charge specially designed lures. Charge them by letting them absorb the spectral forms of Vombalysts that spawn at night.

Charging multiple lures is advised to safely capture and prevent the Hyrolyst from escaping.

Step 3 – Fight and Capture the Hydrolyst

I recommend using the Volt shield and Void Strike operator mode together to inflict immense damage. The synovia weak points shatter after taking sufficient damage, eventually revealing the main Core body.

Destroy the Core while keeping the lures alive to capture the Hydrolyst upon death for boosted Arcane Fury drop rates.

Step 4 – Repeat Nightly Bounties

Simply revisit Cetus and restart the highest level Plains bounty to farm multiple Hydrolyst kills per night. Or repeat the process daily for more chances at Arcane Fury.

Equipping Arcane Fury

The bonus damage effect from Arcane Fury can directly amplify your weapons and warframes. To benefit, it must be properly equipped by installing it into an Arcane slot.

Every warframe innately has Arcane slots. Weapons however need an Arcane Adapter installed. Adapters can be purchased for 15 Steel Path essence from Teshin located at any relay.

Then simply install copies of Arcane Fury in your Arcane segments in your orbiter. The more you equip, the higher the rank achieved which boosts the proc chance up to 100%.

How Arcane Fury Enables Your Build

The 30% damage boost from Arcane Fury allows you to reach even greater heights of firepower. It can enable certain devastating capability or playstyle changes such as:

• One shotting Steel Path bosses
• Nuking rooms filled with enemies
• Solo tridolon hunts as client not host
• Use less forma to reach full build potential

Additionally, Arcane Fury synergizes exceptionally well with certain warframes and strategies by amplifying their damage to extreme levels:
