To optimize rune profits, I like to activate Golden Scarab talismans and fowl foot consumables before consuming high value remembrances.
This leads nicely into repeatedly farming enemies at Moghwyn Palace using the Sacred Relic Sword‘s AoE skill. 10 mins there with boosting gear nets me 500k+ runes! When paired with recycled remembrances for NG+ cycles, you quickly amass millions of precious runes.
